Important info

  • All contestants need to be in western attire, EXCEPT the 0-5 don’t have to have boots

  • HELPERS DO NOT have to be in WESTERN ATTIRE

  • Breakaway is one loop 30 second time limit

  • Team Roping is 3 loops, 30 seconds

  • Both 8-12 and 13-16 Team Roping is rope with WHOEVER you want adult or kid!

  • Steer Riding, Steer Bareback and Steer Saddle Bronc is time limit is 6 seconds

  • We will run two sets of poles and goats. We will post which age group is in the alley and which is on grand stand side.

  • All the ground events will be in the warm up arena from 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM

  • Figure 8 will be the 2 and 5 poles.

  • 7 and Under ONLY, If the contestant messes up the pattern but corrects it they will get a time

  • The dummy head roping will be a calf head 3 loops or 45 seconds. Parents CAN help rebuild loops

  • Time will start when they step in the box. Time will start when slack is pulled tight.

  • Steer daubing has to be daubed by 3/4 of the arena. Steer must be daubed on the left hand side in the marked spot, contestant MUST raise bat to call for time

  • Chute tie down is 30 second time limit MUSTuse a pigging string.

  • Time starts when contestant crosses the front of the roping box (line will be marked)

  • Calf must stay tied for 6 seconds

  • Please pick up any garbage you see let’s leave the fair grounds better than we found it.

  • NO horses in the camping areas.

  • Please DO NOT tie horses to the chain link fence.

Come hungry we will have Hamburger hot dogs and tacos.
